Dismantle the old lock

Remove the handles and trims, unscrew and remove the cylinder and the old lock body from the door leaf.

Mark the lock mounting area

Place the template against the door edge and face. Mark the hole centers and the outlines of the recesses for the lock and strike plate.

Prepare the holes

For wood, use a screwdriver and chisel; for metal, use a rotary tool and burrs. Follow the markings carefully.

step 4

Install the mechanical lock components

Secure the new lock body in the door edge. Install the cylinder, handles, and trims. Screw the strike plate onto the door.

step 5

Prepare space for the electronic units

Using the template, mark and drill the holes for mounting the external and internal units.

Secure the electronic units

Mount the housings using the fasteners from the lock kit. Route and connect the wires between the units.

Important information after installation

Decorative handle

It is not connected to the lock mechanism and does not open the door.

Using the mechanical key

Turn the key until the latch is fully retracted. This usually requires another half turn after the lock opens.

If the door does not open

Do not use force or try to open it with the handle.

When opening electronically

Fully open the door and close it. Otherwise, the device will consider that entry has not yet occurred.

Power supply

Saline batteries are not recommended.

When the batteries are fully discharged

Connect a power bank to the USB Type-C port on the external unit.
